Are you insured?
We are fully insured and hold public indemnity and liability insurance as well as full coverage for our equipment.
Do you bring back up equipment?
We always carry at least two of everything 0 two cameras, flashguns and multiple lenses. Our cameras are of high professional standard and take two cards so there is always a second card facing up every photograph we take. As well as carrying tow cameras we also keep a third 'back-up' camera in the car.
I like your style of photography. What do I do next?
We would highly recommend meeting up. There is absolutely no pressure to book and we respect that choosing the right photographer for your day boils down to personal preference, so we won't be offended if you say no! To book a meet up, click here.
How far do you travel?
We travel far and wide so long as we have time to make it to your wedding. A small extra fee to cover travel expenses may be applicable for weddings and other services if further than a twenty-five mile radius of Wakefield WF2.
How long do you stay at weddings?
This really depends on what kind of coverage you are after and your budget. If you request us to cover your wedding from bridal preparations through to the first dance we would generally arrive around the time your make-up artist is half way and stay with you through to about half an hour after your first dance.
Are we expected to feed you?
That would be lovely, especially if we are covering the whole event. It doesn't have to be a fancy three course meal, just a bar snack or a sandwich at some point would be great. It is impractical for us to bring food and leave it in the car as we are working non-stop, and as you can imagine it doesn't stay that fresh after ten hours in the car. There have been times when we have worked non stop all day but our general rule is... the more we are fed and watered, the better we work!

Where do you take the photographs?
You may visit us although generally we find it easier to come to you where small babies and young children are concerned. We will bring our portable lighting, backgrounds and props with us.
How much space do I need for a home shoot?
Surprisingly not as much as you might expect. We have photographed in some very tight situations in the smallest of kitchens but generally 3 metres x 3 metres is usually sufficient.
Do I need to supply my own props?
If you have anything you would like to include in the photographs that is fine although we do have a wide range of props that we can bring with us including baskets, tin baths and carts.
How long does the photo shoot take?
That depends on how many different changes of outfits and/or backgrounds you require. A couple of changes can be made within a one hour shoot although we always recommend two hours for young babies as they can be so unpredictable.
